Queensland Police is searching for two males and two females aged 15 to 25 years old after they stole 2 vehicles in Bundaberg.
The authorities said that an 11-year old girl was in the vehicle when it was stolen from Olsen’s Corner at 10:15am, Monday.
The police said that the vehicle was still unlocked when thieves forced the girl to leave the vehicle.
Michael Bishop, Detective Senior Sergeant said: “An offender got in the vehicle and instructed the child to exit the car which she did.
She was traumatised, but she had no injuries.
The police say that they found and confiscated the vehicle stolen in the suburb of Thabeban, a few minutes later.
They then traveled towards Childers and stole a second vehicle at a Redridge residence around 11:50am.
Two offenders entered the residence, and one was armed with an axe,” said Senior Sergeant Bishop.
They’ve decamped from that vehicle after threatening the only female passenger for her keys.
These thefts took place less than six hour after two teenagers stole a vehicle from an address in Maryborough and then drove it south, before wrecking it near Boonoroo Plains.
The authorities are still looking for the two men who fled from the accident scene and vanished into the nearby bushland.
