Unlocking a vehicle and rescuing an infant was the work of a Graham County deputy on Sunday.
A report from the Sheriff’s Office states that a deputy was sent to an address at 20th Street around 3:21 pm after a caller asked for assistance unlocking a car.
She said that her child was inside the truck when she accidentally locked keys in it. The woman said that she tried to open the vehicle for 5-10 minutes before calling County Dispatch.
The deputy used his tool to unlock the vehicle. Paramedics with Lifeline Ambulance evaluated the infant at the scene, before releasing it without further action.
